London Wasps edged out visiting Bath by three points in a tightly-contested Aviva Premiership fixture at Adams Park this afternoon.
Bath's Tom Heathcote and Wasps' Nicky Robinson traded earlier penalties, before Christian Wade and Tom Varndell ran in first half tries for the home side. Robinson added a penalty, while he was only able to convert one of his team's tries.
In reply, Kane Palma-Newport went over for Bath, converted by Heathcote, who also added another penalty before the break.
The second half would prove to be a battle between Robinson and Heathcote, with the former scoring three penalties.
Heathcote could only claim two as his side lost the high-scoring match 27-24.
