A knee injury to Paul O'Connell sees Rory Best named captain of Ireland to face Scotland in the Six Nations at the weekend.

Rory Best has replaced the injured Paul O'Connell as captain of Ireland for this weekend's Six Nations match against Scotland.

O'Connell's place in the starting lineup has gone to Donnacha Ryan, while Eoin Reddan will begin the match at scrum-half instead of Conor Murray.

Mike McCarthy and Tomas O'Leary have been handed roles on the bench.
