Nigel Davies: 'Gloucester deserved to beat Worcester Warriors'

Nigel Davies says that Gloucester got their "just deserts" against Worcester Warriors on Sunday.

Director of rugby Nigel Davies is certain that Gloucester got the result they deserved against Worcester Warriors on Sunday.

Gloucester ended a five-match losing streak in the Aviva Premiership with a 12-6 victory at Kingsholm at the expense of Worcester, who are still without a win during the campaign.

"Both sides were desperate for the win. We had to come here and show character under a lot of pressure," Davies told reporters.

"I've thanked the boys for their efforts because we were all under a lot of pressure to get this result. It was a must-win.

"They went out there and they didn't panic and, ultimately, we got out just deserts."

Gloucester travel to London Irish in their next match on Sunday.
