Jonathan Joseph 'to miss England's clash against Fiji'

Jonathan Joseph is reportedly expected to be left out of England's opening match against Fiji this weekend due to an ankle injury.

England centre Jonathan Joseph is unlikely to feature for England in their opening autumn international clash against Fiji this weekend.

The London Irish player has been a doubt for the last few days after he was unable to train with the squad due to an ankle injury.

It is believed that the 21-year-old will not be declared fit in time for the match on Saturday as the team is due to be announced on Thursday by head coach Stuart Lancaster, according to reports.

If Joseph is ruled out of the clash, a centre pairing of Manu Tuilagi and Brad Barritt is likely to be chosen for the first game.
