Cardiff Blues director of rugby Phil Davies has left his post with immediate effect.
The 50-year-old took charge of the Welsh club just under two years ago, but a run of poor results has seen him step down at Cardiff Arms Park.
"This is a decision that I've not taken lightly, but one that I've made in view of my future career and my past experiences in professional rugby," Davies told the Blues' official website.
"I feel this is the right time for me to look to the next challenge and other opportunities in performance development."
Forwards coach Justin Burnell and backs coach Gareth Baber have been appointed as interim coaches following Davies's departure.
