British and Irish Lions boss Warren Gatland has revealed that he was "really happy" with his team's performance in the 22-12 win over the Queensland Reds on Saturday.
Gatland, who has led his side to three wins from their last three matches, has admitted, however, that there is still room for improvement.
"The weather conditions in the second half didn't help, We gutsed it out in the first 20 minutes, we soaked up the pressure and, from that regard, I'm really happy and really proud of their performance, actually," he told BBC Sport.
"They kept digging deep when it was required. I felt there were a couple of forward passes that were missed, a couple of decisions didn't go our way but the boys stuck with it."
The first Test against Australia will take place on June 22.
