St Helens have begun their Super League campaign with a 34-24 win over London Broncos at the Stoop.
Saints utility man Jonny Lomax scored the first points of the game for St Helens. Jamie Foster then kicked the goal to establish an early six-point lead.
Broncos wing Michael Robertson hit back within a matter of minutes, with teammate Michael Witt's goal tieing the score at six points apiece.
The visitors retook the lead through Andrew Dixon, who stepped inside Luke Dorn to touch down. Once again, Foster made it six, coupled with his first of two penalties.
However, the hosts were able to keep it close as Olsi Krasniqi beat several Saints defenders before crossing the line for the Broncos' second four of the afternoon.
Foster added his second penalty of the game soon after, but Chris Bailey's try for the home side sent the Broncos in ahead at the break.
Following the restart, Foster added to his tally to put St Helens back ahead, before Francis Meli added a try of his own.
Broncos stand-off Michael Witt capitalized on a moment of Saints confusion to reduce the deficit, capping their fourth score of the game with his fourth goal.
However, James Roby gave the away side the last laugh by adding another four points to their total in the closing stages.
