Aaron Heremaia signs one-year Hull FC extension

Aaron Heremaia signs a one-year extension to his Hull FC deal.

Hull FC hooker Aaron Heremaia has put pen to paper on a one-year extension at the Super League club.

The former New Zealand international has extended his stay at Hull to the summer of 2014.

"Aaron is a very versatile player who is comfortable playing both at hooker and in the halves, and he is a good person to have around the club," Hull director of rugby Shaun McRae told the club's official website. "His attitude is first class, he is very professional on and off the field and he fits perfectly in with the culture we have worked hard to create here at Hull FC.

"Having picked up a serious neck injury at the start of last season, his application and determination to come back into the side was exceptional and he produced a fine second half to the year playing a crucial role in our strong finish to the campaign.

"He has impressed again this year, working very hard in pre-season which has come across in his performances and we are delighted he has committed his future to the club."

Heremaia has scored six tries in 25 appearances since signing for Hull at the start of 2012.
