Hull Kingston Rovers sign Wigan Warriors centre Iain Thornley

Hull Kingston Rovers sign Wigan Warriors centre Iain Thornley on a two-year deal starting from 2016.

Hull Kingston Rovers have signed Wigan Warriors centre Iain Thornley on a two-year deal starting from 2016.

Thornley, who won the double with Wigan in 2013 before missing most of 2014 with injury, is currently on loan at Super League outfit Salford Red Devils.

He told the Hull KR website: "I'm pretty good friends with Daz Goulding and he told me how good a club it is and how good the lads were.

"He settled in really easily and I just fancied a new challenge with Hull KR. I wanted to come over there and get back to that form I had before I got injured."

The 23-year-old has made 45 appearances for the Warriors, scoring 30 tries.
