England captain Kevin Sinfield: 'We can't dwell on defeat to Italy'

England captain Kevin Sinfield says that England cannot dwell on their World Cup warm-up defeat to Italy.

England captain Kevin Sinfield has insisted that he and his teammates need to move on from their embarrassing defeat to Italy ahead of the World Cup.

The tournament gets underway on Saturday, but England's preparations have been marred by a 15-14 defeat in their warm-up clash at the weekend.

"Although you have to be disappointed and embarrassed by the performance, you can't dwell on it because we have the biggest week of our careers in front of us and a huge opportunity," BBC Sport quotes Sinfield as saying.

England take on Australia in their opening game of the campaign.
