German second-tier club St Pauli made up for their boss Ewald Lienen being unavailable for the unveiling of a new signing by using a man wearing a mask of the manager's face.

On Wednesday, the club announced the arrival of 22-year-old striker Marvin Ducksch from Borussia Dortmund, but Lienen was unable to pose for the official photos.
The next best thing for St Pauli was a man pretending to be Lienen with the help of a mask, but the masquerade was quickly spotted on social media.
The German outfit confirmed on their Twitter page that the manager's presence was faked, and added that it was a "one-off".
