Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has reportedly received a death threat at the club's training ground in Enfield.

The Wales international is at the centre of a reported £105m bid from Real Madrid, who are believed to be in talks with Spurs over taking the prolific winger to the Bernabeu this summer.

As the saga continues, the club have stepped up security after a threatening phone call was made to the ground, according to the Daily Star.

Reports have claimed that Bale, who was not at the training ground at the time, is taking the threat seriously.
