Syrian refugees get tour of Bernabeu by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez

Three refugees are given a tour of the Bernabeu stadium by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez after fleeing Syria.

Three Syrian refugees were given a tour of the Bernabeu stadium on Thursday by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Usama Alabed Almohsen made headlines recently when he was caught on camera being tripped by a Hungarian journalist while fleeing the conflict with his children Zied and Mohammed.

After the footage was released, Mr Almohsen was given a place at the CENAFE school by Luis Miguel Pedraza, and was later contacted by Perez.

"It's a dream come true," The Mirror quotes Mr Almohsen as saying. "I love Real Madrid, it's my favourite team and that of all my family. I'm very thankful for the president's welcome."

The Syrian refugee and his family, who will now live in the southern Madrid suburb of Getafe, have been invited to watch Saturday's La Liga game against Granada.
