Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he feels "great" when he offers help to those in need.
The Portugal captain, who acts as a global ambassador for Save The Children, has claimed that he feels the benefit of helping others when he receives praise from his mother.
"When I go home and my mum says: 'Son, you have done a good act in helping other people. It's good that you are interested in how the world lives'," The Sun quotes Ronaldo as saying.
"Do you understand that it is so nice to hear things like that from people who are so important to me? I feel great when I do something good for other people."
Ronaldo, who has a two-year-old son, is due to go up against his former club Manchester United in the Champions League next week.
