Rangers manager Ally McCoist's son Alexander is reportedly fined by police for ranting at two officers following a night out.

The son of Rangers manager Ally McCoist was reportedly fined by police for ranting at a pair of officers following a night out in Glasgow.

Alexander, 18, is thought to have been clubbing at Sugar Cube in the city with friends before he was allegedly asked to leave.

Following his departure from the nightspot, the teen is said to have launched a tirade at two police officers, who issued an official warning and on-the-spot fine, according to The Scottish Sun.

Alexander was not arrested nor will he face any criminal charges if he pays the fine.
