Former England midfielder Paul Gascoigne has said that he is "determined to get back on track" after suffering a relapse in his battle against alcoholism.
The 48-year-old was said to have had a "bad week" after pictures in The Sun showed him with cuts to his face appearing to carry a bottle of alcohol and being accompanied by a police officer.
A1 Sporting Speakers said in the below photo on Facebook that the former Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Rangers player was now recovering at home.
Paul has had a bad week. This photograph is of him at 8.10 this morning. The Sun photos were bad but this is two days...

Gascoigne has previously said that he realised he was an alcoholic when he was 33, having been confused as to why when he woke up at 5am after a night out he would still want another drink.
