Former Davis Cup player Ross Hutchins has revealed that British number one tennis star Andy Murray has been an "incredible" support through his cancer battle.
The 28-year-old, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma six months ago, had his last bout of chemotherapy the week before Murray won the Aegon Championships at Queen's.
"[Murray] was the first guy outside of my family that I wanted to tell I had cancer," Hutchins told The Sun. "He was a guy who I felt could give me the belief and the strength in the toughest period right after diagnosis.
"He and Colin Fleming, my doubles partner, have been absolute rocks. If I was having a bad day in hospital they were there for me. If I needed five minutes for a chat, regardless of where Andy was in the world, he would make time for me. He has been incredible."
Meanwhile, Murray is due to face Lu Yen-Hsun in the second round at Wimbledon this afternoon.
