Australian golfer Robert Allenby 'visited strip club on night of assault'

Golfer Robert Allenby was reportedly not kidnapped and spent £2,250 during a visit to a strip club on the night of his alleged attack.

Australian golfer Robert Allenby reportedly visited a strip club in Honolulu on the night that he was allegedly assaulted and robbed.

The 43-year-old claimed that he was kidnapped and robbed following a night out with a friend in Hawaii after failing to make the cut in the Sony Open earlier this month.

However, new details published by Golfchannel.com suggest that Allenby was not kidnapped, but witnesses saw that the golfer looked disoriented after leaving adult entertainment venue Club Femme Nu around midnight.

According to the website, two local homeless men Toa Kaili and Chris Khamis spotted Allenby passed out on the corner of a street located 100 yards from the wine bar.

It has been alleged that the sportsman accused the two men of robbing him during a brief conversation, but the pair eventually walked away and left Allenby on the corner.

Reports have claimed that the golfer spent £2,250 during his time in the strip club.
