KJ Choi claims lead in rain-hit RBC Heritage

KJ Choi climbs to the top of the leaderboard in the RBC Heritage as heavy storms interrupt day two.

The 43-year-old took full advantage of an early tee time to climb to five-under-par before storms interrupted play to force the majority of players off the course.

Robert Allenby was just one shot behind Choi when the weather caused him to abandon his round with 13 holes remaining.

A 69 from Luke Donald was enough to help the Englishman make progress up the leaderboard, leaving him trailing the leader by two strokes.

Matt Kuchar, who shared the lead at the end of day one, struggled in the opening stages of his second round as two double bogeys caused him to fall four shots behind, despite only completing six holes.
