Matt Kuchar continued his consistent form by finishing day one of the RBC Heritage with a tie for the lead at Harbour Town Golf Links.
The American, who was tied for fifth at The Masters, shot a bogey-free round of 66 to climb to the top of the leaderboard alongside Scott Langley and William McGirt.
Langley and McGirt benefited from strong displays on the front nine, with both players carding five birdies before the halfway stage.
Harris English recorded a round of 68, which keeps him in contention after an impressive day for scoring on the course.
Masters runner-up Jordan Spieth is two-under-par for the tournament as he goes in search of his first victory this season.
