Ian Poulter: 'I'm still too angry after Masters performance'

Poulter: 'I'm still too angry'
Ian Poulter says that he is still "too angry" after finishing tied 20th in the final round of the Masters at Augusta National.

Ian Poulter has admitted that he has been struggling to sleep following his 'disappointing' performance in the final round of the Masters at Augusta National.

The Brit carded a two-over 74 to finish tied 20th on Sunday, before Bubba Watson clinched the green jacket for the second time with a three-shot victory.

Poulter's frustration comes after he managed to secure a round of 70 on Friday to keep himself in contention for the major.

The 38-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Still awake can't sleep, Mind on overdrive. Biggest disappointment to date and too angry still. Especially when your playing so well."

Jordan Spieth, who was three shots off becoming the youngest Masters champion in history, and Jonas Blixt tied second for the tournament.
