Ian Poulter has claimed that patience could be key as he looks to remain in contention at The Masters over the weekend.
A round of 70 on Friday leaves the Englishman two-over-par at Augusta National, and he was eager to talk positively about his form at the halfway stage of the competition.
Poulter told Sky Sports News: "It was probably one of my best rounds at Augusta I think. In terms of ball-striking I hit a lot of great shots stiff today, but I am walking off disappointed.
"I know I am playing well. My scores haven't reflected that in the last couple of months but I have to be patient because the scores are coming and I am playing nicely.
"If I do stay patient I can work my way around this golf course."
Poulter is nine shots behind leader Bubba Watson after two rounds.
