Ebola announcement interrupts Alan Pardew's post-match press conference

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew's post-match interviews get interrupted by an announcement listing the symptoms of Ebola.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew was reportedly interrupted by an announcement on the safety procedures regarding deadly virus Ebola during his post-match press conference.

The Magpies boss was speaking to reporters after guiding his side to a 2-0 win over holders Manchester City in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup at the Etihad Stadium last night.

According to the Daily Mail, during the television portion of Pardew's post-match media commitments, an announcement containing a male voice was sounded, listing the symptoms of Ebola.

In response to the interruption, Pardew joked: "Manchester City are doing this on purpose because we won, right?"

After resuming to normal, a second announcement rang around the room saying: "If you think you have had intimate sexual relations (with a sufferer of Ebola)..."

Pardew laughed off the inconvenient interruption before continuing his interviews.
