Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed that former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo used to play practical jokes on manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferdinand has claimed that the Real Madrid star, who moved to the Bernabeu from Old Trafford for a record £80m in 2009, used to hide Ferguson's shoes.
"But Ronnie was like his pet so he'd get away with things like that," Ferdinand told FourFourTwo magazine.
The Portugal captain missed out on the Ballon d'Or to Barcelona star Lionel Messi, who picked up the award for a fourth time.
