Manchester United fans pleased to see Marouane Fellaini injured

A number of Manchester United fans express their happiness that Marouane Fellaini could be out injured for several weeks.

A number of Manchester United supporters have expressed their delight at the fact that midfielder Marouane Fellaini could be sidelined for several weeks.

The English champions posted on their official Facebook page that their only major summer signing picked up a wrist injury during last Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk.

While the club called on the fans to wish the Belgium international a "swift recovery", some supporters had other ideas by claiming that they were "happy" to see him injured.

Comments on the Facebook page ranged from, "good news for a change," to "great news...Pls don't recover!!".

One user also wrote: "Fellaini what a waste of money".

The 25-year-old was also described as a "striker" on the club's official message.
