Sir Alex Ferguson 'to go on tour to promote new autobiography'

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly embark on a five-date tour to promote his new book My Autobiography.

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly tour England, Scotland and Ireland to discuss the details of his new book My Autobiography.

The 71-year-old will give his personal account of his glittering 26-year career in charge of the Red Devils, who are now under the leadership of former Everton boss David Moyes.

According to the Daily Mail, Ferguson will begin his book tour on October 28 in Manchester with the BBC's Dan Walker and will then travel to Glasgow, before meeting Eamonn Holmes at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

Ferguson will wrap up his tour in Dublin at the Convention Centre on November 8 after visiting The Music Hall in Aberdeen.
