Sir Alex Ferguson 'shares chat with Manchester beggar named Scouse'

Sir Alex Ferguson enjoys a friendly exchange with a well-known Manchester beggar, named 'Scouse' by locals.

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson showed plenty of festive cheer as he stopped to speak with a well-known local beggar.

The 72-year-old enjoyed a friendly exchange with the gentleman known affectionately by locals as 'Scouse', before shaking his hand and being whisked away in a taxi.


Ferguson spent 26 years in charge at Old Trafford, winning 38 trophies before becoming a director and ambassador for the club.
