Adidas in pole position to clinch £60m-a-year Manchester United kit deal?

Manchester United are reportedly close to agreeing a £60m-a-year deal for Adidas to become the club's kit manufacturers.

Global sportswear brand Adidas are reportedly closing in on a £60m-a-year deal to become Manchester United's kit manufacturers.

The current Premier League champions are said to have been in talks with numerous brands, including Warrior, Puma and current sponsors Nike.

According to the Daily Mail, the club are close to agreeing a deal with Adidas after United officials met with executives in Germany last month.

Nike, whose 13-year partnership with United expires in June 2015, have the right to match any offer.
