Manchester City supporter Stephen Best has been banned from watching the club play for five years after racially abusing Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.
The 31-year-old denied at Manchester Magistrates' Court that he was a racist after he was accused of calling Ferdinand a "black bastard" during September's 3-1 win over QPR.
A woman attending the match at the time confronted Best, to which he replied: "John Terry said it", according to the Manchester Evening News.
The supporter has been banned from visiting the Etihad Stadium as well as attending away matches and England games.
