Carlos Tevez could face a prison sentence after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance.

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

The 29-year-old arrived at Macclesfied Magistrates' Court this morning on driving charges relating to a previous speeding incident.

The Argentina international was arrested last month for violating a six-month driving ban, which was issued to him after he was clocked speeding.

The former Manchester United frontman also failed to provide the authorities with the relevant information following the incident.

Tevez could face a prison sentence if he is found guilty of the charge.
