Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez arrives at Macclesfield Magistrates' Court where he could be given a prison sentence if found guilty of driving offences.

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez could face jail if he is found guilty of driving offences at Macclesfield Magistrates' Court today.

The Argentina international arrived at the court this morning ahead of a hearing over driving charges relating to a number of incidents, one of which involves speeding.

The 29-year-old was arrested in March on suspicion of driving while carrying out a six-month ban. The suspension was issued to him by the court for failing to provide the relevant information on a previous speeding incident.

In theory, Tevez could be sent to prison for six months.
