A Liverpool supporter has put Raheem Sterling up for sale via a tongue-in-cheek online ad on eBay.

The England international has been the subject of two rejected bids from Manchester City as the Reds are believed to have put a £50m price tag on the youngster.

Widespread reports have claimed that Sterling wants to leave Anfield as he is refusing to go on the club's pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia.

It appears that one supporter has had enough,, as an ad offering "free collection" on a 20-year-old attacker who has been "only slightly used" has been put up for auction at £50m.

The description read: "You are bidding for Raheem Sterling: Europe's most valuable young player. With 7 goals and 8 assists in 3,045 minutes, Raheem is one of the most clinical and productive young players in Europe.

"He boasts a 48.2% dribbling completion rate, a wonderful attitude towards the game and several laughing gas canisters to help socialise with his new teammates."

In the 'Things You Should Know' section, the seller wrote: "It's not about how many cars he's going to drive or houses he's got. He's not a money-grabbing 20-year-old. It's not about money. It's never been about money at all."

City are reportedly preparing a third and final bid of £45m for the wantaway star.
