Manchester City preparing final £45m bid for Raheem Sterling?

Manchester City are reportedly preparing to make a third and final bid to lure Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling away from Anfield.

City's pursuit of the rising youngster has been well documented this summer, as reports suggest that the Manchester club have already seen two bids rejected for the 20-year-old.

According to The Mirror, City are now preparing to make an ultimatum with an offer of £40m plus £5m in add-ons for the England international.

Sterling has recently been criticised by former Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard following reports suggesting that he has refused to go on the club's pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia.
