Report: Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux 'pays club fine in pennies'

Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux reportedly has his loan at Swindon Town terminated after paying a club fine in pennies.

Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has had his loan at Swindon Town terminated after paying a club fine in pennies, according to reports.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper had been with the League One side since early August, playing in every league game for them before being dropped for Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Colchester United.

Swindon manager Mark Cooper admitted that Vigouroux had been left out because of an "internal disciplinary matter", but would not go into any detail on the issue.

However, social media stategist Nik Postinger has claimed that the Chilean was sent back because of the manner in which he paid a fine for turning up late to a training session.

Vigouroux joined Liverpool from Tottenham Hotspur last year.
