Mark Cooper: 'Swindon Town may need to sell players'

Mark Cooper admits that Swindon Town may need to sell players in order to bring in new signings.

Swindon Town boss has admitted that the club may need to sell players before bringing in any new recruits in the transfer window.

The Robins manager is keen to bolster his options, but has hinted that the club is reluctant to over-extend itself financially.

When Cooper was asked about his transfer plans, he told reporters: "I'm not sure. I think it will depend if players go out. If players go out then we might be able to bring a few in."

"We've got three or four on the pitch that are going to go at some point again for millions of pounds. It's what we do."

Swindon fought back from 2-0 down to draw at Bury on Saturday.
