Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly close to announcing their new managerial team.
The Championship outfit, who are without a manager since sacking Stuart Gray last week, have been linked with Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper.
According to the Sheffield Star, the Owls have agreed terms with Carlos Carvalhal, with the Portuguese coach set to become the club's new general manager.
The report adds that Wednesday are to make a formal approach to Swindon for Cooper this week.
The confirmation of Carvalhal's arrival is said to have been delayed because Wednesday want to have a new head coach in place before making an announcement.
Cooper guided Swindon to last season's League One playoff final, where they lost to Preston North End.
