Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has confirmed that Indonesian tycoon Erick Thohir is on the verge of completing a takeover of the Italian outfit.

Moratti and Thohir have reached an agreement following months of talks regarding the sale of the president's majority shareholding.

"Everything has been signed, in a few hours there will be a press release," Sky Sports News quotes Moratti as saying.

"Satisfied? Yes, this has taken a long time, but eventually we have got there, everything seems to be in balance."

Moratti has also stated that the role of president at the club is yet to be decided.
