Giants inflatable rugby ball breaks Kingsholm goalposts

A giant inflatable rugby ball breaks the goalposts ahead of kickoff at an Aviva Premiership match.

Kickoff at an Aviva Premiership game had to be delayed after a set of goalposts were broken by a giant inflatable rugby ball.

The item was being used as part of the pre-match entertainment at Kingsholm ahead of Gloucester Rugby's game against Worcester Warriors yesterday afternoon.

Teams were attempting to pass the huge inflatable over the crossbar shortly before the match got underway, but it managed to loosen the bar, forcing the game to be delayed by 30 minutes while repairs were carried out.

Gloucester went on to win the match 12-6.
