Former Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish is reportedly part of a consortium that is attempting to purchase League One side Charlton Athletic.
The 58-year-old, who also boasts the likes of Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest on his CV, was spotted in the directors' box at The Valley on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Daily Record, plans are in place for McLeish and ex-Rangers director Donald Muir to take over the Addicks, though they face competition from an Australian consortium.
Charlton are currently eighth in the third tier, one point adrift of the playoffs but unable to purchase new players until takeover talks are finalised.
McLeish is also understood to be in the running for the vacant Scotland job, being viewed as second favourite behind Michael O'Neill.
