Brazil supporters reportedly launch fireworks outside of Colombia's team hotel at 4am ahead of tonight's World Cup quarter-final.

Brazil supporters reportedly tried to disrupt the Colombian team by setting off fireworks outside of their hotel ahead of tonight's World Cup quarter-final.

The two South American nations will go head to head in Fortaleza for a spot in the semi-finals of the elite tournament.

According to the Daily Mail, a number of Brazil fans tried to ruin the Colombians' preparations by allegedly setting off fireworks outside the team hotel at around 4am.

Before tonight's mouthwatering tie, European nations Germany and France will play for a spot in the final four in Brazil.
