Bradford City fans create an online campaign trying to get young cancer survivor Jake Turton a place in the League Cup final as mascot.

Bradford City supporters have set up a campaign aiming to get cancer survivor Jake Turton to the League Cup final at Wembley.

The nine-year-old, who fought off a brain tumour, received a special celebration from Bradford captain Gary Jones, who found the youngster in the crowd to give him a kiss on the head following the League Two side's semi-final win over Aston Villa.

Over 7,000 supporters have added their name to a campaign on Facebook attempting to make Turton the club's mascot for the final later this month.

The youngster led the Bradford team out at Valley Parade in the first leg of the semi-final.
