The father of Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has reportedly been spotted in the directors' box at the Emirates Stadium this evening.

According to BBC Sport, Juan Mata Snr is a guest of the club this evening, which has led to speculation that the North Londoners are planning to launch a bid for the Spanish international.

Mata has started just one of the Blues' three Premier League games under Jose Mourinho, but the Portuguese coach said yesterday that he is not interested in selling the 25-year-old.
