Petr Cech celebrates record with homemade biscuit

Arsenal keeper Petr Cech celebrates equalling the Premier League clean sheets record by eating a biscuit of himself.

Petr Cech celebrated equalling a Premier League record yesterday by enjoying a biscuit made in his image.

The 33-year-old drew level with David James's record of 169 league clean sheets on Sunday as Arsenal defeated Aston Villa in Birmingham, leaving him on the brink of making history.

In a post on Twitter, Cech revealed that his wife Martina Cechova had baked an edible gift to mark the occasion - complete with his signature headguard.

The majority of Cech's clean sheets came at Chelsea, where he managed 162 league shutouts in 11 years.
