Frenchman Gregory Havret takes early European Masters lead

Gregory Havret shoots a seven-under-par 63 to take a one-shot lead after the first round of the Omega European Masters in Switzerland.

Gregory Havret has taken a one-shot lead after the first round of the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre.

The Frenchman shot a seven-under-par 63 that included a rare eagle two on the par-four seventh and a hole-in-one at the par-three 13th.

Havret leads Denmark's Lasse Jensen by one, while there is a group of 10 players two back on five-under that includes four Englishmen - Danny Willett, Seve Benson, Richard Bland and Tyrrell Hatton.

Hatton led by one going down the last but then hit two balls in the water for a triple-bogey seven.

The start of the round was delayed because of fog in the Swiss Alps.
