Ryder Cup veteran Lee Westwood has revealed that he is ready to help out European captain Jose Maria Olazabal in any way that he can.
Englishman Westwood will be competing in his eighth Ryder Cup when Europe take on the USA in Chicago this weekend.
Having gained a host of experience from those tournaments, the 39-year-old has said that he is prepared to pass on his knowledge to the rest of the squad.
"This is my eighth Ryder Cup and my eighth different captain," Westwood told reporters "I've seen the way different captains do it.
"If I'm asked my opinion then I will give it. I have a fair amount of background knowledge and the experience."
Westwood has won 10 points for Europe in previous Ryder Cups.
