Four share lead at Valspar Championship

Four players reach three-under in the first round of the Valspar Championship to share the lead.

Four players recorded an opening round of 68 to share the lead at the end of day one in the Valspar Championship.

Pat Perez, Matt Every, Greg Chalmers and Danny Lee were the four men who managed to come out on top on a day which saw the conditions change by the hour.

Every impressed more than most of the field after coming out in the morning to battle the cold and wind on his way to a promising opening round.

Matteo Manassero and Nicolas Colsaerts were among a number of players just one shot off the lead in Florida.

Justin Rose, who is the highest-ranked player in the competition, ended the day on level par at the Innisbrook Resort.
