Lee Westwood happy with state of game

Lee Westwood believes that his game is "coming around" ahead of the Waste Management Open at TPC Scottsdale.

Lee Westwood has claimed that he is happy with the current state of his game ahead of the Waste Management Open at TPC Scottsdale.

The 40-year-old tied for 47th in the Farmers Insurance Open last week but believes that he is hitting the ball as well as he has done for a long time.

"I've got a fair bit of continuity at the moment," Westwood told reporters. "I feel like my game is coming around. There have been a lot of changes, so that's been difficult, sometimes difficult to see which part of your game is wrong when there are so many different things going on.

"But, you know, I feel like I have a grasp of it at the moment and I'm hitting the ball well, as good as I've hit for a while, and I'm rolling the ball on the greens better than I have been for the last two or three years."

Westwood has changed his schedule to compete more often on the PGA Tour this season.
