Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen takes the lead at the halfway stage of the Lyoness Open in Austria.

Thorbjorn Olesen has opened up a three-shot lead after a second day of rain-affected play at the Lyoness Open in Austria.

The Dane was unable to finish his first round on schedule due to fading light, ending on seven-under with four holes left to play.

The 22-year-old nabbed a birdie at the 17th to post 64 and finish his first round level with Pablo Larrazabal on eight-under par.

A four-under round of 68 now sees him top the leaderboard at the halfway stage at the Diamond Country Club.

Thomas Levet, who was also unable to finish on day one, improved his score by two shots to finish on nine-under par.

Overnight leader Larrazabal could only manage to card two-over and has dropped to a share of seventh place.
