Spencer Levin leads by one in Ohio

Spencer Levin is the overnight leader heading into the final round of the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Gold Club.

Spencer Levin will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the Memorial Tournament in Ohio.

The American carded four birdies and an eagle on his way to a third-round 67, which leaves him on eight-under for the tournament.

Three bogeys marred the 27-year-old's card, including one at the 16th, which let overnight leader Rory Sabbatini back to within one stroke of the lead.

It may have been even worse for Levin had he not sunk par putts at 17 and 18 to keep his nose in front.

Rickie Fowler continued his impressive form of late by taking 69 blows to finish on five-under, while Tiger Woods will resume four shots adrift.

The 14-time Major champion started promisingly with two birdies on the front nine, but dropped shots at 10, 12, 16 and 18 meant he ended on one-over for the day.
