Irish pair Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell lead the World Cup of Golf by two shots ahead of the final round.

Ireland have taken a two-shot lead ahead of the final round of the World Cup of Golf at Mission Hills in China.

US Open winners Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell finished the day on 21-under-par, two clear of Germany, South Africa and the United States.

The Northern Irish pair started the day tied for the lead with Australia and birdied five of the first seven holes at the southern Chinese island of Hainan to move ahead of the field and complete an eight-under 64.

Germany's Martin Kaymer and Alex Cejka and South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel fired 11-under-par 61s to move up to joint second alongside the American pair of Matt Kuchar and Gary Woodland.

The event will finish with a foursomes round on Sunday morning.
